Agency Profiles

This chapter begins the presentation of the results from the survey of agencies affiliated with the America's Second Harvest Network. 

The first section details the following:

• Numbers of responses received from various types of agencies,
  
• What combinations of programs are operated by the responding agencies.
  

Subsequent sections examine characteristics of emergency food programs operated by these agencies, such as:

• Years of program operation;
  
• Services provided other than food distribution;
  
• Types of organizations; and
  
• Agency estimates of the changes in their numbers of clients between 2001 and 2005 are also presented.
