Food Assistance

Given the high levels of need evidenced by many clients in the A2H network, it is important to assess whether the clients of the A2H National Network are getting all the governmental nutrition assistance they are entitled to.  This issue is examined here.  The analysis begins by examining client participation in the Food Stamp Program , since it is the largest and most widely available government nutrition assistance program.  Both levels of participation and reasons for non-participation are examined.  A subsequent section examines participation in other government nutrition programs .
